How to adjust brightness and volume from your Mac trackpad
Set the left edge to brightness and the right edge to volume in TouchX.
Assign each edge an action
In TouchX edge gesture settings, assign a vertical swipe on the left edge to screen brightness. Assign a vertical swipe on the right edge to volume.
Start at the edge and stay on it
Place a finger near the left or right edge and slide vertically along that edge. Slide up to increase the level or down to decrease it.
Test the two edges separately
Make a short swipe on the left and watch for a brightness change. Then play audio through your Mac speakers and try the right edge.
